Hi, I’m Jason.

I am your Single Malt Scotch Doctor. I was first introduced to single malt scotch in 2012, and I immediately fell in love with the complexity of its aromas and flavors. As my journey into scotch unfolded, I developed a deep appreciation for the history of scotch and Scottish culture. In 2014, I made my first trip to Scotland. Over the past 12 years, I have continued to expand the breadth and depth of my study of all things scotch—how it’s made, the whisky regions of Scotland, and more. In 2021, I earned the Certified Scotch Professional designation from The Council of Whiskey Masters and began teaching a course on single malt scotch through Wichita State University. In 2022, I made my second trip to Scotland. To date, I have purchased or sampled over 200 single malt scotches from over 100 scotch distilleries. Now, I’m bringing my courses directly to you in the comfort of your home. I look forward to sharing my passion for and expertise about single malt scotch with you and your friends! And yes, I do plan to make many more trips to Scotland in the future!
